When actresses are roped in from other industries to act in a Kannada flick, there are a lot of things that the actresses forgo, one of them being - attending the audio release of the film. It doesn't matter which film it is or by which production house it is being made, attending the launch event of their audio is not in the actress's agenda at all. What is also interesting is the fact that even the producers don't seem to mind this. It may be because of the fact that the actresses demand money even to make an appearance even for the launch of their film's audio or any other promotional related events. But, filmmakers have never admitted to this fact instead claiming that the particular actress is busy with some other project. The guests at the audio launch of Shriya Saran's film were really hopeful to see her as this is her Kannada debut but were disappointed. Nonetheless, the event was a successful one with some of the big names of the Kannada industry making it to the event.
